It’s amazing what a wealth of information architecture data is available in the search results listings of a web site – you DO have search on your web site, right? Most web site log analysis tools enable you to see the terms your web site visitors are searching for on your site. You receive directly from your web site visitors a listing (ranked in order of number of times each term is searched for) for content that is either missing from your web site, or too hard to find.
These search terms listings are a great way to find the holes in your information architecture and plug them up with helpful and usable content.

User-Centered Design
Today, I thought of doing some housekeeping work and i cleaned up my bookmarks. During the process I stumbled upon an old article which I read and bookmarked on one of my favorite topic, "User Centered Design".
It was an interesting read and i hope many of you might have read it. Well, here are the versus which i like the most from the article...
1. These gatherings were informal, simply a group of professionals with a shared passion for improving the quality of technology for the user. - I hope many of us do such meetings and that too after the birth of social networking portals like www.meetup.com
2. Our strategies and methods were modified in response to the increased demands of the marketplace, changing our understanding of users.
3. We no longer exclusively confine our activities within the boundaries of today’s technologies and markets, and no longer direct all of our resources toward existing product development.
4. It’s time to direct some of our attention to the fringe markets where disruptive technologies take hold.
Thanks to Dr. William and uxmag for this wonderful article on UCD.

Axure, the best
When it comes to prototyping and wireframing, the tool which comes to my mind with immediate effect is Axure. Even though its not a free tool (of course you can try it out for free), i prefer using the Axure RP, for creating all my wireframes.
I wish i write a lot more about this tool right away, but i feel sleepy and tired. Indeed, it was a long day today and i am looking forward to a much more longer day tomorrow. I'm sure that I will write about it one day soon, on how it came in handy and helped me out, to quickly deliver my ideas. Keep watching.
